EAMCUAA GROWING STRONG AT 8

Time flies quickly! That must be at the back of the mind of Dr. Jaime Balingit. It was not too long ago, September of 1983 to be precise, when he became the first resident of the newly  established urology training program at EAMC. Since then 29 other residents followed in his footsteps and have become full pledged urologists. It is but fitting then that Dr. Balingit would help established the EAMC Urology Alumni Association and take the initial lead in the year 2000. Created for the purpose of fostering camaraderie and uniting the graduates of the EAMC urology training program, it has fulfilled its vision. After 8 years, the association has become stronger and more active. Friendship has bridged the time gaps and the desire for achievements has unified the ranks.

Proud to be a product of a rich training ground for urology, the association pursues activities that would support its mother institution, from the training of residents to the purchase of some needed equipments. For the 25th year celebration of the EAMC Urology training program we will try to be more active than ever starting with the creation of the silver anniversary yearbook, a VTR of the training program history and with surgical missions. And with the success of our grand reunion, I guess these will come easy. These of course would never be possible without the commitment and full support of the members and officers. Cheers to us all! Let’s continue to have fun in each other’s company!
